Have You Spotted The Sidewalk In Portland That Wants To Talk To You?
Sometimes it's the short and sweet that you can find clever and cunning. When walking down Free Street in Portland, there's a small section of the sidewalk that is colored different from the rest and has a message on it.
HEY!
It's not a long conversation and if you respond, you're highly unlikely to get anything else in return but it's yet another unique part of a very creative city that you could easily miss or never know existed.
A quick Google search as to why there are white bricks near the Cross Insurance Arena comes up empty. The Maine College of Art is right across the street but we couldn't dig up anything that suggested the bricks were part of an art project. So what gives?
What is interesting is that there is another white brick nearby with no message scrawled on it. Sequel? We'll keep you posted.
