Remember Kickball? This Lewiston-Auburn Event Bringing Back the Fun for Adults

If you’re looking for a reason to grab your friends, coworkers, or maybe just your competitive side and have some fun this summer, the Uplift LA Kickball Tournament is exactly what you need. 

On Friday, July 24th, the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce is bringing back a day of friendly competition, community connection, and plenty of laughs at the Ron Morin Memorial Fields in Lewiston. 

And yes... kickball. The game we all played as kids, except now we’re adults with jobs, sore knees, and a much stronger appreciation for stretching beforehand. 

The one-day tournament will feature a two-game round robin format followed by playoffs, giving teams plenty of time to compete, meet new people, and enjoy the day.

You can sign up as a full team or register as an individual and get placed on a team.

There will also be great food from Burnt Ends BBQ and a beer garden hosted by Baxter Brewing, making it a perfect summer event for players and spectators. 

A big part of making events like this happen is people who truly care about bringing the community together.

That’s why I have to give a shoutout to Justin Morin, the Events Coordinator for the L/A Metro Chamber of Commerce. 

I first met Justin while working on a Christmas concert at the L/A Community Little Theatre, and I quickly learned he’s someone who genuinely loves this community.

As an actor himself, Justin has a huge passion for the arts and supporting young professionals in the area. His heart is all about creating opportunities, spreading awareness, and helping people connect.
