Hadlock Field In Portland Named One Of America’s ‘Must-See’ Ballparks
It's probably confirmation of something we already know here in Maine, that Hadlock Field is an absolute gem of a baseball stadium. Baseball America released a list of the most "must-see" minor league baseball stadiums across the country, and Hadlock Field, home of the Portland Sea Dogs, came in #8 on that list.
Baseball America mentions that Hadlock Field is home to another green monster outside of Fenway Park, but for those that have been going to Hadlock for years now, the field is so much more than that. Of course, there's Slugger, one of the best mascots in all of professional sports. There's the array of engaging competitions and giveaways throughout the game that keep people locked in. There's Sea Dog Biscuits, a new Maine tradition. But more importantly, there's not a single bad seat at Hadlock Field. Makes professional baseball feel like a backyard game.
So congrats to the Portland Sea Dogs and Hadlock Field for having one of the 'must-see' ballparks from coast to coast!
