The Garden Bar Blooms in South Portland, Maine

South Portland just got greener and fresher! The Garden Bar is now official open, according to Portland Food Map.

They're located at 173 Ocean Street and have completely transformed the former Rwanda Bean Café into this gorgeous bright, leafy spot for healthy foodies. 

They are known for there delicious bowls and made to order salads. The Garden Bar is the perfect spot to go when you want to eat well without feeling too tired or full after you enjoy lunch.

And you don’t have to be vegan or gluten-free to enjoy what they have to offer! They have something for everyone.

A Fresh Take on Healthy Eating in SoPo at Garden Bar

The owner, Lanai Monahan created and launched the original Garden Bar in Biddeford in May of 2023 and since then, it’s gained a pretty thick cult following. So this new location in SoPo is kind of a big deal.   

They offer seating for 14 at tables and then there' s the counter that seats 6. The space is beautiful, cozy and bright.

The menu gives you twelve signature bowls and customizable salads that you build with so many delicious opens. They have cold pressed juices, cookies, and chips.

This spot truly balances out your craving. They’re open from 11:00am-7:00pm, daily. The Garden Bar is more then just a salad spot, it’s a feel good, fresh experience, and the expansion truly shows that everyone is dreaming green!
