You Can ‘Pay Your Age’ At South Portland’s Build-A-Bear Again This Year

Have you or your kids ever built their own bears at a Build-A-Bear workshop before? It's so much fun!

The down-side is that it's expensive, which is why this is so cool: The "Pay Your Age" Build-A-Bear promotion is back this year, according to the toy company's Facebook page. Bonus Club members get to pay the dollar amount of their age (up to 29) or kid's age (minimum $1) for any toy available at the South Portland Build-A-Bear store. The child who you are buying the bear for must be present.

Because of the long lines and subsequent early closures last year, many people walked away empty-handed and angry. So this year, Build-A-Bear is doing things differently with a raffle, as per its official website. Customers must have a ticket after signing up for the Bonus Club. A limited number of tickets are available through midnight on June 16th. Build-A-Bear says 200,000 tickets will be made available around the world. If you are lucky enough to get a ticket, you'll be able to redeem it June 24th through the 28th.
