‘Whose Live Anyway’ Coming to Perform at Portland’s Merrill Auditorium
If you're a fan of the improv TV show Whose Line Is It Anyway?, you'll be excited about this news. The touring version of Whose Line is coming to Merrill Auditorium in Portland.
Whose Line Is It Anyway?
The American version of Whose Line Is It Anyway began in the UK and the American version began in 1998. It was originally hosted by Drew Carey and featured improv performers Ryan Stiles, and Colin Mochrie with Wayne Brady coming on board for season 2.
The performers create characters, scenes, and songs on the spot that are chosen by the host and are awarded points based on their performance, even though the points don't matter.
Whose Live Anyway?
The traveling version of Whose Line is appropriately titled Whose Live Anyway? It features Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray as performers. I can only assume that Drew Carey and Wayne Brady are too busy hosting The Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal.
There is no host in this version so the performers do their improv from suggestions from the audience.
