The Only Food Truck Park in New England is Opening Next Week

I am a huge fan of food trucks ESPECIALLY ones that serve up grilled cheese and tomato soup! Did you know the only Food Truck park in New England is in Wells, Maine? It's called Congdon's After Dark and it will be open every day this Summer.

According to their website, Congdon's After Dark offers a unique and convenient dinner option for their summer residents and locals. They have up to 10 food trucks at a time serving from 4 p.m. until LATE! They have food trucks featuring seafood, burgers, pizza, crepes, Brazilian, Italian, Jamaican, Mexican, Vietnamese, Cajun, and more. Basically any cuisine your heart desires!

On their website you can see which food trucks will be there on which day. (I think that is very exciting!) Opening day is May 27th and the line up is:

First responders and medical professionals can feel free to drop by on opening day and receive a free doughnut.

According to the Boston Globe, there is more on the menu than just delicious food this Summer. On Mondays there will be classic car shows, and on Tuesdays there will be fundraisers that benefit New England nonprofit organizations.

The article states that Congdon's owner, Gary Leech, is excited for a busy but safe Summer. The staff is still required to wear face coverings and there is plenty of land for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable.
