Cozy Up With S’mores And Fun At Congress Square Park in Portland
Good news! S’mores Nights are back at Congress Square Park, and everyone is invited.
S’mores Nights
Every Thursday, Congress Square Park becomes a warm and welcoming place to relax, snack, and spend time together. From 4 to 6 p.m., you can stop by and enjoy free s’mores with friends, family, neighbors, or even someone new. All ages are welcome, and there is no need to register. Just come by and join in.
Fire pits will be set up in the park so you can toast your marshmallow just the way you like it. Sit by the fire, get cozy, and enjoy being outdoors. S’mores Nights are about slowing down and enjoying simple moments. A sweet treat. A friendly chat. A break from busy days in the city.
Most weeks, there will also be a guest vendor selling hot drinks. You might find hot chocolate, tea, or coffee to enjoy with your s’more. These local vendors help make each night feel extra special and warm.
There will often be special guests and activities as well. Some evenings may include mini markets where you can browse and shop. Other nights may feature shadow puppets from Mayo Street Arts, live music, or other fun activities. Each week may be a little different, which makes it fun to come back again. More details will be shared on the Congress Square Park website and social media channels as events are announced.
S’mores Nights are free to attend, but a suggested donation of five dollars or more is greatly appreciated. Donations help Friends of Congress Square Park keep this small urban park active, welcoming, and full of life all year long. You can donate in person during the event or online at congresssquarepark.org/donation.
Bring a friend. Bring a jacket. Bring your sweet tooth and get cozy at Congress Square Park.
