In a time where there is so much unknown about the future of schooling for the 2020-2021 school year, Creative Explorations, a preschool, and childcare center in Windham, is looking to expand.

They are hoping and planning to open a K-3rd grade school that's unlike any program available in the area currently.

Creative Explorations is unique with its current program and will bring that to the new school. According to Amie Earley of Creative Explorations, they believe that children learn best when immersed in the natural world and take lead in their own interests when it comes to learning. They encourage an environment where kids can ask questions and explore their curiosities and creativity.

The school is planned for the old House of Lights building in Scarborough. To move forward they will need between 40 and 50 enrolled students.
