Katie Perkins and her family are on the lookout for their missing male mallard duck that apparently likes to hang out at the gas station.

In case you aren't familiar with mallard ducks, the above picture is what the male mallards look like. They can easily be identified as males because they have green heads, while the females have brown-speckled heads.

I'd like to thank Wikipedia for schooling me on mallard ducks.

Putting Out the Duck Call on TikTok

Katie Perkins is a TikTok user, but who isn't these days? She lives in Windham, and her duck is lost, or it has had enough of the family.

According to Perkins' TikTok video, she thinks the duck likes hanging out at the All Town gas station. Really?

So we don't know yet if this duck has been found or not, but I'm sure the All Town convenience store on the corner of Roosevelt Trail and River Road is getting a ton of calls asking, "Hey! Is there a mallard duck in your store?

If you ask me, this doesn't seem like a place a duck would hang out. He's probably found a nice spot on a pond or on Sebago Lake.

So if you happen to see a wandering mallard duck in the Winidham area, it might belong to this family. If you see one and pretend to be a duck with a "quack-QUAAAACK," and he responds, that could be the one.

Also, dear TikTok people. Don't take your hands off the wheel while you're driving and taking a TikTok video. Put your phone down, even if you have one of those fancy cars that will steer for you. Wait until you get home and are out of the car to make your video. Distracted driving isn't cool.
