Dear Fellow Seabrook Lowe's Shopper,

First of all, I think we can agree that the Seabrook Lowe's has the nicest staff around. As of late, it seems like we're there every weekend. There is always something we need for our garden or garage, and sometimes,  it's just fun to peruse the store and let the aisles tell us what we need. The staff there is always so nice to baby Gwen, and make us feel like we're part of the Lowe's family. But this isn't a letter to the Lowe's staff (we will save that for another day). This is a letter to a particular shopper.

This past Saturday, we did what we call our weekend trifecta, which is BJ's first...

Are we wild OR WHAT?

At BJ's, we loaded up on diapers, formula, various snacks, toilet paper, Gatorades...let's just say it was an expensive trip.

After BJ's, we headed to Lowe's, and this is the part where you come in. Apparently, when we were taking the stroller out of the trunk for baby Gwen, we forgot to close the trunk. We were in the store for about five minutes when you came running up to us. You informed us that you noticed the trunk of car was wide open with hundreds of dollars of baby accoutrement on display (you were kind enough to not point out the second part).

You proceeded to tell us that you went ahead and closed the trunk for us. We thanked you profusely, and said you should have at least helped yourself to a Gatorade. To that, you just laughed, said "no problem", and went on your merry way.

It seemed like such a simple thing, but it really meant a lot to us. Not to state the obvious, but diapers and formula are not cheap these days. Leaving all of that stuff on display for an entire parking lot was a risky game to play. Thank you for going out of your way to help a couple of sleep-deprived new parents just trying to get through the day.  You, sir, are a real one.

I hope I can pay it forward and help someone else who might need it this week. Thanks again for your kindness, and for making me want to be better.
