If you're like me and are ready for winter to be over, this news is a sign that it's almost here. Gifford's Ice Cream starts opening its three ice cream stands this week.

Hi. I'm Jeff and I am addicted to Gifford's Peanut Butter Pie ice cream. Maybe you can tell by what I have stocked up on in my freezer. This flavor is ridiculously good!

It's peanut butter ice cream with chunks of chopped peanut butter cups and graham cracker ribbons. The deeper you dig, the more deliciousness you find. I may have polished one of these containers off in just a day. Once I start I just can't stop. Don't judge.

You can get that and 41 other flavors at the three family-owned stands that are opening soon on a rolling basis on Fridays.

Here's the list of Gifford's Ice Cream stand locations and when each will open.

Gifford's Bangor

Gifford’s Bangor opens for the season on Friday, March 14, and will be open daily from noon to 8:30 p.m. It's located at 1109 Broadway in Bangor.

Waterville

Gifford’s Waterville opens for the season on Friday, March 21, and will be open daily from noon to 8:30 p.m. It's located at 170 Silver Street in Waterville and also offers mini-golf, weather permitting.

Skowhegan

Gifford’s Skowhegan opens for the season on Friday, April 4, and will be open daily from noon to 8:30 p.m. It's located at 307 Madison Avenue in Skowhegan and also offers mini-golf, weather permitting.
