The new joint is called Full Turn, and announced plans on social media to open soon at the former Baharat location on the corner of Anderson and Fox Streets. The Instagram page explains that the new restaurant will be a collaboration between the owners behind Baharat and restaurant consultants Melissa Pappas and Cloe Kessell.

The building has been quiet since the end of September when the much-beloved Baharat officially shut down, following what can only be described as a fantastic run. It will be great to see the incredible space hopping once again.

According to the sleuths over at Portland Food Map, Full Turn will be revolving with the seasons. Local ingredients and the time of year will help inspire the rotating menu and style of the food. So, it seems like Full Turn is the perfect name for this upcoming establishment.

Portland Food Map also reported that the restaurant plans to connect with breweries, chefs, and other local food providers for all kinds of fun foodie events and more.

This sounds like it will be a wonderful addition to the Bayside neighborhood, an area that just continues to bolster its foodie and beverage reputation. It's also being run by a handful of folks who not only know the industry, but also the space. Portland Food Map notes that all partners worked for Baharat during its run.

This all-star cast of restaurateurs plans to open soon. According to Portland Food Map, look for Full Turn to open its doors some time in December. You can follow them on Instagram now for more information. Hopefully that will include some sample menus soon to truly get us prepared for the future.
