Cargo Pizza Company’s Brick-and-Mortar Store in Portland Opens March 6
The wait is almost over! Cargo Pizza Company has announced that their new brick-and-mortar location will have its Grand Opening on Thursday, March 6. A big move for the company after branching out from the food truck business.
Cargo Pizza Company Food Truck
Cargo Pizza Company began as a food truck that is a mobile pizza kitchen. They typically serve events or you can find the truck often on Portland's Eastern Prom. They've gotten rave reviews since opening in 2019 and now they're beginning a new adventure.
1053 Forest Avenue, Portland
Cargo Pizza Company's restaurant is opening on March 6 at 1053 Forest Avenue. Coincidently, it's in a building that was also home to Papa John's Pizza until 2018.
Then the space was home to Falafel Time...
...which then closed in 2024.

Cargo Pizza Company Moves In
Then, along came Cargo Pizza Company, which had planned to open its new restaurant in the vacant space in December 2024, but things happened, and the opening got pushed out to March 6.
The new restaurant seats around 20 people inside and will have outdoor seating in the summer. It will also offer takeout and delivery. As far as I can tell, the pizza trucks will still be out there for events and private functions.
What's on the Menu?
Cargo Pizza Company posted what you can expect on grand opening day on their Facebook page. This sounds amazing!
