Laugh your night away with a whole mess of improv comedy from all over New England. Groups include Improv Boston, The Focus Group, ImprovAcadia, Teachers Lounge Mafia, Improvised Puppet Project, Providence Improv Guild and Running with Scissors. Some of Maine’s best breweries will be pouring samples just for you during the Maine Brewers Festival. The ticket cost includes a fancy tasting glass (it’s real glass!) and tickets to enjoy 12, four-ounce pours of Maine craft beer. There will be food, vendors, music, and prizes.

Comedian Amy Schumer is in Portland Saturday for two stand-up performances at Cross Insurance Arena. She's probably going to talk about sex. A lot. And other hilarious/awkward stuff we can all relate to, because Schumer keeps it real.

The 4th Annual Simmer 'n' Brewfest will be held at Cannon Mountain in Franconia this weekend. The event will feature live music, fresh brews from more than 15 New England breweries, and gourmet soups galore from local chefs and eateries.

Psychic medium and intuitive Lauren Rainbow will appear at the Flying Monkey Performance House in Plymouth this weekend. New Hampshire's own Medium, Lauren Rainbow, will bring you an evening of Messages from Spirit.
