My Daughter’s Drawing

I love it when my daughter draws pictures for me!

She draws things for me all the time. I'm not sure why, but I really enjoyed this one in particular. Maybe it's because she gave it to me at a time when I was feeling a little down. A lot of times I would just take a quick glance, and then move on to the next thing I needed to do in my busy day.

But this time, I actually took a minute to really look at it, and think about how great it was that she was thinking of me earlier today, enough to draw a picture just for me! Sometimes life gets so hectic, we forget to pause for a moment and think about what's really important, and how grateful we are for what we have.

I'm incredibly grateful for my daughter...and for this silly little picture that really brightened my day!
