Meredith Ice Fishing Derby Postponed

Warm temperatures have made the ice unsafe, so the date of the Derby has been moved.

As of February 1st, Lake Winnipesaukee has very little ice. And with temperatures forecast to be in the 50s this week, it doesn't look like the situation will be changing anytime soon.

Normally, the ice expands and hardens during late January and early February.
