Sexiest Man Alive in Maine Plays with Adoptable Animals
He's one of the most right-swiped men on Tinder in Maine and he's using his title to bring attention to adoptable animals at Kennebec Valley Humane Society in Augusta.
Zach Miller and I met at the Kennebec Valley Humane Society to meet some of the adoptable dogs, cats, and rabbits. Zach is an animal lover so he was excited to parter with us to raise awareness and advocate for the adoption of pets from local animal shelters. Zach helped show off the stellar personalities and adorable faces of the animals at the shelter in hopes that they'll soon find their forever homes.
Zach was contacted by Tinder last fall letting him know that he was among the most right-swiped man in Maine on Tinder. Launched in 2012, Tinder is the world’s leading social app for meeting new people. Each day, 26 million matches are made on Tinder with more than 10 billion matches made to date.
Zach was featured in People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive issue as the Sexiest Man Alive in Maine, based on Tinder right swipes. You can find him in the online issue of People Magazine and in the November 30, 2015 issue of the magazine.
Meet Zach Miller, The Sexiest Man Alive in Maine
Zach lives on a small horse farm in Bristol, Maine. He's an avid photographer and is pursuing his Masters in Fine Arts, with the final school to be determined. He studied for his undergrad at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana.
He's more than his stellar good looks. Zach is outdoorsy, he loves to work out, and he spends most of his free time with his friends or snapping stunning photos of his surroundings.
So what gets a right swipe from Zach? He said it's all about EAT, an acronym he uses to determine if he and a match have potential.
E is for education, A is for attraction, and T is for talent, meaning that person is passionate about something. These things make someone more interesting. Education shows that person can set goals, attraction is obvious, and talent shows passion and dedication. If someone doesn't have a passion, they usually don't have anything to talk about.
Between cuddling with cats and playing with the dogs at the Kennebec Valley Humane Society, Zach shared some of his secrets to achieving Tinder selfie success.
Zach's Tips for the Perfect Tinder Profile Photo
- "First photo needs to be a selfie that's not shot from a low angle."
- Use good lighting and have a nice smile.
- Make sure you're alone in the photo. "Don't make people play the guessing game to determine which person you are in the group photo."
