Incredible Story of Great Dane and Fawn Friendship [Video]

This is an amazing story of a fawn and dog, Pippin and Kate and how they became friends.

I stumbled across this video of a dog and deer hanging out and frolicking together in the yard.  The more I watched the more amazed I became by their friendship.  I wanted to find out more about how they became such good buddies.  Pippin was a fawn abandoned by her mother.  She was adopted into a family in Canada. Kate, the great dane welcomed Pippin with open arms. They developed a wonderful inspiring friendship. Henry the cat was tolerant.  Kate & Pippin even have their own children's book and website. Sadly, Kate passed away May 29, 2014.  But, I want to leave this story on a more hopeful note. Pip is a mom and has given birth to 8 fawns over the years.
