Getting Pampered in Portland!

I have a few wedddings coming up this Summer and next weekend I am a bridesmaid in one! These functions are a great excuse to treat yourself to something you wouldn't normally get. Whether it's a mani, pedi or facial I think most women (or anyone) can agree that pampering yourself once in a while can really do the body good. Maybe being a bridesmaid is putting you into debt so you decide to get a massage to alleviate some of that tension. (a hypothetical example of course!) So being a newbie in town the question arrises: Where should I go to get pampered!? I need your help!

For The Hair

Studio One

This place gets amazing reviews. Apparently Melissa really knows what she's doing when it comes to coloring and styling. People seem to really like Tony and say hes personable, does a great job and makes you feel special! One of my favorite parts about going to get my hair done is chatting and getting to know my stylist. It's all part of the experience!

For The Nails

Anna Philips Nail Bar

This place looks like the epitome of luxury. The decor is all white, very modern but still inviting. Everyone on YELP seemed to be really happy with the service they received as well. The above picture alone is enough to make me want to check it out. I love when the nail technicians get funky with designs, it's so much fun.

For The Feet

Soakology

Ok- this place was actually recommended to me by a friend right when I moved to Portland. I know a lot of people aren't fans of getting their feet played with but for me, it is a little slice of heaven. Soakology refers to itself as a FOOT SANCUARY. They have a whole menu of soaks and they are all catered to your tootsies.

For The Face

Fabu Salon and Day Spa

Not right in Portland proper but a quick drive up 295. I am impressed with the array of esthetics they have available. They have something called a "salt glow" as well as a "body wrap with salt glow". I have no idea what either of those entail but I assume I would feel like a glowing goddess by the end of it. Sign me up!
