If you're a fan of "Back to the Future," then you most certainly know all about the epic time machine in the movie, the DeLorean.

Marty McFly and Doc Brown use it to travel back to the past (and future), all while cementing the vehicle to its iconic status in pop culture.

And this quote from Doc Brown in the movie really highlights that: "The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?"

Well, if you've been wanting to revel in your own version (time machine not included), you're in luck based on this Facebook Marketplace posting for a 1983 DeLorean in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

Granted, volocars.com's article on the history of the "Back to the Future" car states that the car in the movies was a 1982 DeLorean, but what's one extra year? This 1983 DeLorean practically looks like it's ready to hit 88 mph to travel back in time, especially with that silver exterior.

You will notice however that the speedometer stops at 85. According to volocars.com, President Jimmy Carter had signed a law trying to curb speeding and had the speedometer reading only go to 85.

Turns out the movie version of the car got a reworked speedometer so Marty and Doc could not only go back in time, but you could visually see the vehicle hit 88 mph, the article states.

The FB Marketplace post states that the vehicle has been driven 34,000 miles, so that must have been a lot of driving if the person was going to 1955, 2015 and then to 1885.

And better make sure you know how to drive stick as this DeLorean is no automatic. It's got a manual transmission.

The description does state that it "needs little work," and you can notice the wear and tear on the car from the photos. That said, the car's been around for nearly four decades so that seems to make sense, but it could certainly use a good clean.

It all comes down to a cool $24,500... if you've got that kind of cash you want to spend.
