It's going to be a green Christmas for many in Massachusetts.

Anticipating a hefty retail season, Target announced this week that it will hire 120,000 seasonal employees across the United States, including 4,300 in Massachusetts.

Janna Potts, chief stores officer, said in a statement. "Adding 120,000 people to our current team will make the holidays easier and more convenient for our guests - whether they're in stores, picking up their Drive Up orders or having a package delivered to their home."

First reported by NECN, Target will host hiring events at all stores nationwide from Friday, Oct. 12 through Sunday Oct. 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. You'll be able to interview on the spot and receive conditional job offers, according to the article.

They'll also be some decent coin involved with these positions. Target recently announced that all team members hired after Sept. 16 will begin at $12 an hour minimum wage as part of the company's commitment to increasing minimum hourly wage to $15 per hour by the end of 2020.
