These Yankee Candles Are Being Recalled Because They’re Dangerous [DETAILS]
We are out buying Christmas gifts right now like maniacs! The last thing you want to hear is the Yankee Candle you bought Auntie Susan could cut her! The National Candle Association (yes, that's a real thing) says that in the U.S. retail sales, candles are estimated approximately $3.2 billion annually. That means, we spend a lot of 'mulah' on candles. Also, candles are used in 7 out of 10 households in the U.S. So, I am taking a pretty good guess you have bought someone on your list this season a candle.
According to the Huffington Post, beware though of the candle above. It is specifically a Yankee Candle from their Luminous Candle Collection. The candle has been recalled due to once lighting the candle, the jar can shatter, and expose you to lacerations. Meaning, this candle will cut you! The candle is $35, and comes in an assortment of smells including sea salt and coral, blackberry and sage, apple blossom and melon, sugarcane and honey, pine and sandalwood, and cinnamon and cedar. They are recalling about 31,000 of the candles sold.
Be safe out there.
