The Maine Mall Will Have Santa – Here’s What You Need to Know
Sitting on Santa's lap is not exactly covid friendly - here's what the Maine Mall will attempt this year.
Bringing your little one to visit Santa at 'The Mall' is part of a ritual that is completely interrupted this year thanks to a global pandemic.
Reaching out to the Maine Mall, they sent this statement:
To make this Christmas both a magical and safe experience, Cherry Hill Programs will be providing enhanced cleaning, a reduced number of customers on set at one time, reduced physical contact between Santa and his visitors, promoting a contactless Santa visit with all customers, encouraging reservation-based transactions, and limiting walk-up visit with Santa.
Some malls are putting Santa in a 'snow globe'. Some malls will have Santa in a giant picture frame (fancy pexiglass). Where masks are mandated, Santa will have a mask on and you will be asked to wear a mask too.
This is new territory for the Maine Mall. The good news is that Santa will be making an appearance, but - expect it to be a much different experience than before. Be patient, and check the Maine Mall's website because Santa will only see your little with a reservation. You can reserve a time starting in November.
