The Best Frappes in Maine are Still in Brunswick at a New Shoppe

If you are in the mood for a frappe and are having a hard time finding one, the search is over!

I guess it's important to know the difference between a frappe and a shake. This is a frappe.

According to the American Heritage College Dictionary, a milkshake is a “a beverage that is made of milk, ice cream, and often flavoring and is blended or whipped until foamy.” Unless you live in New England, where a milkshake would never include ice cream. Adding ice cream makes it a “frappe” drink.

Ohhhh, New England. We have to be different. Now back to where you can get the best frappe ever. The Burton family owned Fat Boy in Brunswick and sold it back in 2020. I almost had a heart attack when I heard that Fat Boy was being sold, but was glad the new owner kept it going! It's a summer must for me!

Of course, you can get chocolate, but how basic - because The Frappe Shoppe has all the frappes! And homemade whoopie pies too!
