Signs Say Sears At Maine Mall Is Closing

Earlier this week, we shared a rumor that the Sears at Maine Mall is going out of business. It appears that the rumors are true. At least that is what the signs on the building say. They promote a "store closing sale." There are signs all over the outside of the building, including two on the front doors.

Another sign says the fixtures and equipment are for sale.

It is a sad day in retail. Shopping at Sears probably brings back happy memories for many families who grew up with the catalog and the brick and mortar store.
