Each week, we'll be highlighting a senior who played a part of making New England such a great place to live. This week, we want to salute Archie Gould, who was nominated by his neighbor, Rebecca.

Rebecca writes:

"Archie is a person who truly puts his neighbors before himself. He has some health issues; yet, he can be seen cutting our lawns in the summer and removing snow from our driveways throughout our long Maine winters. Ask Archie advice about any task and he will usually have the ideal response. He is our neighborhood buddy and he does not ask to be paid for any of these arduous tasks. He is also our watchman who knows the comings and goings of those who live near him. He will inform you if he observes an out of the ordinary event that occurs, while you are away from home."

Each week, HOM will be featuring a different senior who has made New England a better place to live. Nominate a special senior in your life to tell his/her story. They can be a relative, friend, neighbor or someone else you know. You can even nominate yourself. The featured senior will receive a $50 gift card to use at an area mall, and a one year subscription to American Senior magazine. They'll also be invited to a luncheon here at Townsquare Media, honoring all of the seniors we're saluting.
