If you've visited the Rock Row development in Westbrook recently, you know that things are booming.
Phase one of the project is complete, featuring Market Basket, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, REI, Crumbl Cookies, Firehouse Subs, Sports Clips, and Cowbell Sports Bar and Grill.
Phase two of the project is off and running as well, with construction underway on a sprawling medical campus that will be anchored by New England Cancer Specialists. The ambitious phase will include more than just a medical campus, as plans call for on-site residences, 70 miles of walking trails, a quarry side boardwalk, and a 550-seat food hall.
As construction on phase two continues, Rock Row also continues to hold events to keep the community involved and those outside the community interested.
That will include a series of live concerts in August featuring national acts like Badfish: the Ultimate Tribute to Sublime, as well as Cracker.
Rock Row is constructing a Quarryside Beer Garden as well as a stage to hold the concerts. Beers from the popular Portland brewery Lone Pine will be featured in the beer garden. There will also be light appetizers available for purchase inside the beer garden during the show. It will be completely free to simply attend the show.
Each live concert will take place on a Thursday night in August. Performances will start at 8:15pm and end at 9:45pm. The schedule looks like this:
- August 3: Cracker
- August 10: Badfish: the Ultimate Tribute to Sublime
- August 17: Danielle Ponder
- August 24: Roots of Creation
