There are typos, then there are typos. This Rhode Island couple paid a heavy price for this embarrassing typo.

For the rest of you, I'm sure this is somehow Joe Biden's fault. But a Trump-branded watch that cost over $600 came with a giant boo-boo. One little letter makes all the difference.

NBC 10 WJAR reported that Tim and Melanie Petit ordered a Trump-branded watch. Tim bought the limited edition watch for his wife and told WJAR,

I just thought it was really nice. It was beautiful. And I knew it would be something that she’d like. One of 250. So that attracted me.

Of all the letters to be missing, it was the important 'T'

When you pay nearly 700 dollars for a watch whose value stems from the name on it, it would be nice if the name were right. RUMP is not what you want to show the world when they ask, 'What time is it?' Melanie owned a $640 RUMP watch. When they reached out to the website GetTrumpWatches, they got no help. They did notice in small print that it licenses the Trump name and likeness. So Trump doesn't have a room in the white house where he's cranking out watches.

When Tim contacted the website, nothing happened. No response. When NBC 10 contacted the website with several messages, Tim not only got a response, but a replacement watch and an $800 coupon to buy something else on their website. Well done, WJAR. I wonder if I could contact them about the stuff I get online that is never what I ordered.
