Quick Work From Firefighters Saves Augusta Home
According to the KJ, a quick response from Augusta firefighters allowed them to prevent a shed fire from jumping to a nearby home.
The fire at the Green Street residence was reported at about 12:30 on Sunday afternoon. The blaze reportedly started in an outdoor storage space before jumping to a shed on the property.
Fortunately, firefighters were able to stop the fire from damaging the house.
As we understand it, no one was injured in the fire.
It is believed the cause of the fire was accidental. The investigation into the fire's cause continued on Monday.
