Pina Colada Cupcakes in the Spotlight [Audio]

We're in love with our 94.9 HOM Cupcake Challenge finalists!  They are so creative with flavors and decorations.  Today the spotlight is on Linda Brann of Linda Cakes and her Pina Colada cupcakes.

Linda is an award-winning hobby cake decorator and instructor who lives in Gorham, Maine. She has taken home several 1st and 2nd place ribbons at cake shows in New England. She wants to grow her business, and winning this contest would help to make her name known.

Hidden beneath the hand-formed toppers of her Pina Colada cupcakes lies a moist, delicious cupcake reminiscent of the Islands. Toasted coconut, creamy buttercream frosting and a moist coconut pineapple cake hide gleefully waiting for the homemade marshmallow fondant and gum paste toppers to be removed (or eaten!).
