New Hampshire Man Accused of Opening Fire During Pelham Church Wedding

A New Hampshire man is facing several charges, including first-degree assault and attempted murder, after allegedly shooting two people at a church in Pelham.

WMUR is reporting that Dale Holloway stands accused of shooting Bishop Stanley Choate and Claire McMullen during a wedding that was taking place at the New England Pentecostal Ministries on Bridge Street on Saturday morning.

Bishop Choate sustained serious injuries and was taken to Tufts Medical Center in Boston, where he remains, as per WMUR. McMullen was reportedly shot in the arm, and was treated and released from a local hospital.

Holloway was reportedly seen entering the church building after the wedding began, according to the news station. It's unclear if the suspect immediately opened fire or waited for a specific moment during the service.

However, Pelham police Chief Joseph Roark told WMUR that it didn't "seem to be a random event."
