Maine Woman Behind Bars For Threatening City Officials In Video
A Belfast, Maine woman was arrested last Friday for threats she made during a video where she is target shooting with a scoped rifle, while calling out the names of seven city officials, according to WGME. It's also being reported that 57-year-old Laurie Allen says, "Thanks for being my target” in the recording.
WGME reports there were a number of confrontations, along with other videos that caused “reasonable fear for some officials who thought their lives or safety might be at risk.” City Councilor Mike Hurley made the initial complaint to the police after seeing one of Allen’s videos on YouTube, in which she threatens him.
Allen faces charges of terrorizing with a dangerous weapon, as per WGME.
