Maine Couple Writes Last Day Care Check and Realize What All That Money Could Have Bought

If you ever wondered just how expensive kids are, Charlie and Erin Berg of Portland just put it all into perspective.

Having just written their last check for daycare, they totaled up the cost for their 2 kids over the past 8 years which came to a whopping $90,000. They posted a picture of themselves on Facebook with the final check and a list of all the things that $90K could have bought them instead.

Kind of crazy when you see it like this, isn't it? I would have taken the heat for my house for 99 friggin years.
