Tips on how to get in and out with your lobster roll from Maine's Governor's Restaurant

Each year, Governor's typically sells over 20,000 lobster rolls across their 6 stores. That means they get up bright and early to start making takeout orders. If you want a lobster roll with a freshly grilled bun, just let them know. It's their anniversary, and we get the present! Lobster rolls are $10.66. You can add their awesome homemade coleslaw or french fries (I recommend both!) for only $1.66 each. Go fancy and get onion rings or sweet potato fries for an additional $4.16.

There are a couple of things you MUST know before getting your cheap lobster rolls. Don't call ahead. They cannot stress this enough. Just come in and pick up your lobster roll order. It slows them down so much to take phone orders. In fact, they won't take a call-in order for less than 25, and online orders won't be fulfilled for less than 10 lobster rolls. If you have a large order, please do call them so they can have it ready for you. Otherwise...hang tight and be patient.

This is how I was first introduced to Governor's Restaurant - dessert! So, after you have your fill of lobster rolls, be sure to bring some pie home! They start selling lobster rolls at 8 am! Then it gets nuts from 1030 am until around 230 pm. Just remember that this is very popular, and they are working their lobster rolls off to make sure you have a great experience!
