UFO Sightings Skyrocket in Central Maine: What’s Behind the Surge?
According to Lewiston Rocks on Facebook, some residents in Central Maine and other parts of Maine are reporting an increase in UFO sightings. At least I have noticed a lot of chatter online.
Now, let's keep in mind that we all were able to witness the comet that recently soared above the horizon.
"The comet is called, the Tsuchinshan-ATLAS just made its closest approach to earth on October 12th, becoming visible in the skies above our planet for the first time in 80,000 years", according to WGME.
So some of us could have thought it was a UFO but really, it was the rare comet.
Despite an official count being lower, many locals have shared experiences of unexplained lights and objects in the sky, causing a buzz in these communities.
This trend definitely makes sense with recent observations across Maine. This has been a growing trend since last year, as reported by WGME.
Experts say according to the report that while official records may not capture everything, the increase in sightings shows a growing curiosity and concern about what's really out there.

I love the idea of our curiosity expanding, don’t you? Ever since the government confirmed the existence of aliens, it’s clear they’re out there. But the big questions remain: in what form, and how do they fit into our world?
While I’m not a fan of the fear that comes with the unknown, I believe if you don't think there's more out there, you're being a bit narrow-minded.
The Facebook thread about UFO sightings has sparked a mix of reactions.
Some users are responding with hilarious comments and memes, adding a lighthearted vibe to the conversation. On the other hand, there are people taking it seriously, sharing their own experiences of seeing strange objects in the sky, leaving them questioning what they’ve witnessed.
