Maine’s Best-Kept Secret Shopping Boutique
I stumbled upon this hot boutique in Portland, and it's quickly become my ultimate retail crush! Not only do they offer the trendiest clothes, but their prices are so low, I feel like a fashion superstar and I am not breaking the bank. Hot mama vibes, right here! Let me tell you all about it.
This hidden gem came to my attention recently when I took my 6-year-old to the Urban Air jump park in South Portland. As we were pulling into the parking lot, I couldn't help but notice a quaint little boutique that a friend had raved about years ago.
Typically, I tend to stick to my local stores due to my busy schedule, so this discovery was a super nice surprise. So of course, while Bentley was jumping away with my wife, Nelly, I had to check it out.
It's also hard to shop as my weight is always fluctuating, I have a larger chest and it's never easy to find clothes but this place gave me the comfort and the clothes I need.
This could not have been more perfect. I walked over and took a little peak and felt like Alice in Wonderland. I had fallen through the looking glass of retail therapy and affordable pricing and was in heaven.
What's this store called? Plato's Closet! It is located at 333 Clark's Pond Parkway in South Portland, conveniently across from Urban Air jump park. Wink wink.
What did I find? So many name brand clothes all at affordable prices and what I mean by that is each item I found was under $10 per piece.
Plato's Closet specializes in buying gently used clothing, handbags, shoes and accessories.
It's all of my favorite brands too! Super trendy styles and all at a discount. According to their website its up to 70% off regular retail prices.
Just to name a few brands they sell American Eagle, Free People, Nike, Urban Outfitters, Adidas, and a diverse range of others, according to their site.
I grabbed two Shein tops, a Nike hoodie, an Adidas's hat and I can't wait to go back to grab my cute fall clothing!
