Hilarious Typo Makes Portland, Maine, Weather Forecast a Little Scary
Let's face it, typos are awesome. Sometimes you can double, triple, or even quadruple check your work but you don't catch that pesky typo before your work is released to the people. When I'm reading a book and I see a typo, it gives me a great deal of comfort. I know that may seem weird, but I look at typos as a friendly reminder that we are all human beings who are trying our best. Everybody makes mistakes, and if you don't you are probably a robot.
Even college professors ,make typos:
And sometimes you catch typos on restaurant menus like this one in Scarborough:
Do you see it?
Yeah, I am not mature enough for that typo.
WMTW's Meteorologist Ted McInerney pointed out a hilarious typo on his weather forecast Sunday morning. He captioned the photo:
"A typo is life and death in wx forecasting ♂️"
Well you know what they say about the weather in New England, if you don't like it, just wait a few minutes and it will change. But 345 degrees is quite the upswing!
Of course this little snafu gave the people of Portland quite the chuckle:
Denise Neil DeAngelis said:
"LOL ! We could just put our food on the porch to cook."
Kathy Page said:
"I like the heat but that’s a little much 😂"
Dorothy Adams said:
"What level of sunblock should we use"
250 SPF should do the trick, Dorothy
Thanks for the giggles WMTW and the nice reminder that we're all human!
