Hey New Englanders: Did You Recently Get Any Text Messages That Were Sent On Valentine’s Day?

168,149 text messages that were supposed to be delivered on Valentine's Day finally reached their intended recipient last Wednesday, according to CNN Business. The report say this was a problem which affected all four major cellular phone carriers on both Apple and Android devices in the United States. CNN stated two of the carriers were blaming it on a third-party vendor. Another said it was a maintenance update.

Others posted on social media about the awkwardness of getting texts from their exes. Imagine trying to explain the message to their current significant other. In another embarrassing situation, a woman named Jane complained to Sprint's Twitter account that her boss received a text from her in the middle of the night.:
