It’s Another Halloween Triple Feature At Prides Corner Drive-In
Pride's Corner Drive-In has been in business for over 70 years in Westbrook and is still going strong into fall with another Halloween triple feature.
Monster Squad (1987)
A clubhouse full of monster-obsessed kids in Baton Rouge discovers that Count Dracula and his monstrous allies are real and have come to Earth to find a powerful amulet. The monsters need the amulet to destroy it and let evil take over the world, while the Monster Squad must get it first to save humanity.
Pet Semetary (1989)
The Creed family moves to a new home in rural Maine, where their elderly neighbor, Jud Crandall, introduces them to a burial ground for pets and a mysterious ancient burial ground behind it.
This is the original Pet Sematary from 1989, not the 2019 version that, quite frankly, sucked.
Halloween (1978)
Escaped patient Michael Myers, who returns to his hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, on Halloween night to stalk and kill teenagers, especially Laurie Strode, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, who narrowly escaped him years ago.
Halloween and Pet Sematary are films you might not want the young ones to watch, but that's your call as a parent to make.
All three of these movies will be shown at Pride's Corner Drive-In on Halloween night, Friday, October 31, and Saturday, November 1. Gates open at 6 PM,
The Monster Squad starts at 6:45 PM, Pet Sematary at 8:20 PM, and Halloween starts at 10:10 PM.
Tickets are available at Eventbrite or at the box office with cash only.
