Free lift tickets to ski in New Hampshire? It seems too good to be true, but it's for real. Here's how to ski for free on weekends this season.

Storrs Hill Ski Area has a 100-year history in Lebanon, New Hampshire, and is a non-profit operation that receives funding from generous donors to keep the ski area running. Recently, Stoors Hill received a donation from the Jack and Dorothy Bryne Foundation that will allow skiers to hit the slopes with free lift tickets.  That's right. Skiing at no charge!

Cory Grant, President of the Lebanon Outing Club and Stoors Hill Manager was thrilled about the donation. “This project embodies the spirit of our community, providing an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the outdoors and experience the magic of winter sports,”

The Lebanon Outing Club is the non-profit organization that manages and funds operations for Storrs Hill, which wants people to get out and enjoy winter by offering affordable, family-friendly winter recreation.

The hope is that this donation from the Bryne Foundation will jumpstart donations to continue free lift tickets for more seasons in the future.

So what do you need to get your free lift ticket? Just got to Storrs Hill during public skiing hours, get your free lift ticket at the window, and hit the slopes! Public skiing hours throughout the ski season at Storrs Hill are Fridays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.,  Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Storrs Hill Ski Area is located at 60 Spring Street in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
