For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, We’ve Changed Our Name To Pink 94.9 HOM

For the month of October, you can call us Pink 94.9 HOM.

It's our way of supporting the cause. It's our way to help build awareness. And it's our way of highlighting some of the wonderful organizations who are working to help those who are battling this awful disease, and working to put an end to it once and for all.

If you drive through Downtown Portland at night this month, you see that we've lit up our portion of One City Center with pink lights, to help spread the word. You'll also hear us talking about it quite a bit on the air. We'll be featuring inspirational stories from survivors, as well as information from organizations like the American Cancer Society, on the air, and here at our website.

Each week throughout the month, we'll be awarding a $200 makeover to someone who has battled, or is currently battling breast cancer. You can learn more, and enter yourself or nominate someone you know here.

Please join us in honoring those we've lost, the survivors, and those working so hard to put an end to breast cancer once and for all.
