It’s PINKtober: Breast Cancer Survivors Can Win A $200 Anabel’s Angels’ Makeover
For the third year in a row, 94.9 HOM is teaming up with Anabel's Angels to give away makeovers this month, because it's PINKtober and we want to help spread awareness about breast cancer. Anabel is the sister of my good friend and Anabel's Angels' founder Jeff Tengonciang. She died of non-smokers lung cancer in 2012. The three of us went to the same high school, and Anabel was a year ahead of us. I remember her as a very beautiful, popular girl who was kind, positive and always smiling. After she passed away, Jeff started a nonprofit called Anabel's Angels to bring light into the lives of people who are challenged with terminal diseases or physical afflictions -– especially those who receive little to no support.
Starting this week, you'll be able to nominate yourself or someone you know who lives in New England, and is currently dealing with breast cancer (or has survived it) to win an "Anabel's Angels' Makeover." Four people will be selected throughout the month to get $200 gift cards from Ulta Beauty to use on the services and products of their choosing. Fill out the information below to nominate yourself or someone you know.
