Dizzy Birds Rotisserie is Coming Back to Biddeford, Maine
It was such a bummer after 6 years to hear at the end of 2024, Dizzy Birds Rotisserie was closing. But it's back soon!
The Press Herald reported that Dizzy Birds closed because, after the pandemic, their dine-in crowd just never materialized. People got so used to take-out and delivery that it became the norm. So Dizzy Birds will become Dizzy Birds - On the Fly! Take out and delivery only.
When is Dizzy Birds - On the Fly back in Biddeford, Maine?
Mark your calendar for February 27. Dizzy Birds comes back to life for the take-out crowd! The Press Herald talked to the owner Tom Peacock who revealed that the menu will include hot whole or quartered rotisserie chickens, barbecued baby back ribs, and fully cooked, ready-to-eat pot pies and shepherd’s pies (also available in single-serving sizes).

The best news ever is that Dizzy Birds Rotisserie is coming back to Biddeford, Maine
When they announced their closing at the end of December 2024, they did say that they would still have the catering business and were working on a franchise model. I hope they have not let go of the franchise model, because coming back in multiple locations would be my dream. For now, I'm ending my February 2024, with one of their scratch-made elevated comfort food chicken pot pies.
After they get back up and running, Dizzy Birds - On the Fly will be open Thursdays and Fridays from 2-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Finally some good news for one of the best!
