I'm just going to lay this out in the line here and say that I don't like cats. Technically, that's only half true. I don't like having cats as pets, but I thoroughly enjoy watching cat videos on YouTube. This one is my favorite that I laugh at every time.

Tell me you're not laughing right now.

Cat Video Fest

Cat Video Fest 2025 comes to theaters on August 2 and one of those theaters is a the Portland Museum of Art. There's a good cause behind this too as  10% of ticket sales will go to support the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland.

The Museum of Art will have shows running from August 2 to 14.

Cats Are Crazy And We Love It

YouTube estimates that there are over 2 million cat videos on their platform with over 2 billion views. That's a lot of crazy cats.

If you're going to watch cat videos on YouTube, be prepared to set aside the better part of a day, because you'll be hooked.

What To Expect

CatVideoFest 2025 is a compilation of the latest and best cat videos projected onto the big screen. They are put together from hours upon hours of submissions.

Each year, across the country, local theaters partner with nearby cat-focused charities, like the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, and donate a portion of the proceeds to local cats in need.
