New Hampshire is now a little fancier with a new The Capital Grille open in Salem.

You've probably heard of it if you've never been to The Capital Grille. It's a fine dining restaurant chain with more than 70 locations around the country with one in Boston, Massachusetts. According to Seacoast Online, Salem is New Hampshire's first and only location.

Why is The Capital Grille in New Hampshire a big deal?

This is an upscale restaurant, with a reputation for a very good steak. A press release shared by Seacoast Online says their steaks are dry-aged in-house for 18-24 days and hand-carved daily.

The Salem, New Hampshire Capital Grille will have a lounge, outdoor patio, and spaces for private events. It's in the Tuscan Village shopping plaza at 19 Artisan Drive, Salem. When they talk about fine dining, they aren't kidding. From their website, they take this elevated experience seriously including a dress code which they call 'polite dress notice',

To better deliver on our promise of a refined atmosphere, proper dress is required. Thank you for not wearing athletic shorts, leggings, joggers, sweatshirts or sweatpants, uncovered sports bras or other bra-style tops, excessively revealing clothing or exposed undergarments, or any clothing with offensive language/images, or overwhelming or offensive odor. Men’s shirts must have sleeves.
