Canobie Lake Park in Salem, New Hampshire, Revealed Opening Day for 2022 Season

I remember going to Canobie Lake Park in Salem, NH, every summer with camp and on weekends with my family. Throughout the years, I have learned never to have a slice of pizza before going on the Turkish Twist, one of their fastest spinning rides. I have made so many good memories at Canobie Lake Park, especially riding the bumper cars, getting wet on the Boston Tea Party, going to their annual Screamfest around Halloween, and riding their newest coaster Untamed, not to mention how many quarters I have spent in their pinball room.

Canobie Lake Park opened in 1902 and has been making memories for many families ever since. According to Time's Money Magazine, Canobie Lake Park is one of the top 10 amusement parks in America, coming in at number 9.

2022 Season

It's official: Canobie Lake Park is opening up this spring. With the calendar for Canobie's 2022 season on their website, it is really starting to feel like summertime. In the past, Canobie Lake Park celebrated its opening day on Mother's Day. However, that does not seem to be the case this year.

According to their website, Canobie Lake Park will kick off their 2022 season Memorial Day Weekend on Saturday, May 28th from 10:30 am to 7 pm. Except for Memorial Day, they will only be open on weekends until Wednesday, June 15th. Hopefully, we can look forward to another Screamfest this year, as Canobie's schedule has opening hours through Halloween weekend.

Last year, day reservations were required for the park. However, it has not yet been announced if that will continue for the 2022 Season.

Get ready for a fun summer by grabbing your friends and family. Be prepared to fill your stomach with pizza, ice cream, and fried dough, and laugh together on the Xtreme Frisbee and Yankee Cannonball.
