Bull Moose posted on Facebook on December 31, announcing that the Bull Moose location in Windham would be closing, following a difficult decision:

We’ve made the extremely difficult decision to close our North Windham location at the end of January 2026. We have worked hard to keep this store going, but the realities of the space make it increasingly difficult to serve our customers and staff the way we believe they deserve.
Our top priority right now is our Windham staff. Every team member has been offered the option to transfer to another Bull Moose location or receive a severance package to help them plan what’s next. We will work together to ensure the best possible outcome for our folks and our customers through this transition.
We expect to be open through January, with flash sales and other events as we work through remaining inventory. Stay tuned for more updates as we have them.
The Windham Bull Moose first opened in 1991 at the North Windham Shopping Center and was open for nearly 25 years in that location.
It must have been difficult for the owners, employees, and customers of the Windham Bull Moose. Luckily, the owners are doing everything they can to place employees in other Bull Moose locations or get a severance package.
It's good to know that the company that was born right here in Maine looks out for the people who helped make Bull Moose what it is today.
