
Air Quality Alert for Parts of Maine for Saturday, May 28
The Maine Department of Environmental Protection has issued a warning that ground-level ozone concentrations will be climbing in Maine Saturday, May 28. They are expected to reach unhealthy levels from Kittery through Acadia.
When the elevated ozone levels are reached, those suffering from respiratory issues may experience reduced lung function and irritation.
The western interior & the western Mountains region are expected to reach the moderate range today.
