According to the Boston Globe, the navigation app Waze collected some data based on last year's traffic patterns in the days leading up to Thanksgiving.

Now let's face it: Between now and Thanksgiving, the roads won't be clear unless you leave in the middle of the night. However, if you can avoid travel in these windows of time you will be better off:

Tuesday: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Wednesday: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Thursday: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

AAA is forecasting that there will be 3% more Thanksgiving travelers over last year nationally. So keep that in mind. And let's not forget our return travels. Here are times to avoid hitting the road:

Friday: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday: Noon to 2 p.m.

Sunday: Noon to 2 p.m.

Drive safe my friends, and have a Happy Thanksgiving!
